How to Submit Your Eye Power
At Mooeyewear, every lens is custom-made specially for you. To ensure perfect clarity and comfort, we require your correct eye power before starting production. You can submit your prescription in two simple ways:
- Upload your prescription (PDF or image)
- Enter your eye power manually
Both options are secure, easy, and take less than a few minutes.
Option 1: Upload Your Prescription
If you already have a prescription from your doctor or eye clinic, you can upload it directly.
What You Can Upload:
- Clear photo of your prescription
- PDF file
- Scanned copy
- Eye examination result sheet
Make Sure Your Prescription Shows:
- SPH (Sphere)
- CYL (Cylinder) – if applicable
- AXIS – if CYL is mentioned
- PD (Pupillary Distance)
- ADD (for progressive lenses, if required)
Please ensure:
- The image is clear and readable
- All numbers are visible
- The prescription is valid and up-to-date
Option 2: Enter Eye Power Manually
If you prefer, you can enter your eye power directly on the product page.
Right Eye (OD)
- SPH (Sphere)
- CYL (Cylinder)
- AXIS
- PD
- ADD (only if you selected progressive lenses)
Left Eye (OS)
- SPH (Sphere)

- AXIS
- PD
- ADD (only if progressive)
Before checkout, you will see a summary of your entered values so you can review everything carefully.
What Do These Terms Mean?
If you're unsure about the numbers, here’s a simple explanation:
SPH (Sphere)
- This is your main lens power.
- A minus (-) value corrects near-sightedness (myopia).
- A plus (+) value corrects farsightedness (hyperopia).
CYL (Cylinder)
- Corrects astigmatism (blurred or distorted vision).
AXIS
- Works with CYL and shows the angle of astigmatism correction (between 0 and 180 degrees).
PD (Pupillary Distance)
- The distance between the center of your pupils (measured in millimeters).
- This ensures your lenses align perfectly with your eyes.
ADD
- Extra near-vision power is required for progressive lenses.
Automatic Power Validation
To protect your vision and ensure production accuracy:
- All values are automatically checked
- AXIS must be between 0 and 180°
- Values must fall within safe lab production limits
- Progressive lenses follow specific ADD ranges
- Very high powers may require suitable frame types
If something is outside the acceptable range:
- You will see a notification
- Our team will guide you to the best solution
This helps ensure comfort, safety, and long-term durability.
Important Information
- Eye power must be submitted before your order is confirmed.
- We cannot process lenses without confirmed values.
- Lens pricing depends on the SPH / CYL / ADD combination.
- Please double-check your values before submitting.
- All prescription lenses are custom-made and cannot be changed once production begins.
